We went to AZ in November to see our really great friends the NIXONS! I have posted other things since then but really meant to come back and post these pics. We had a wonderful time hanging out with them. I miss them so much since they moved away. I wish they were closer.

The Nixons are amazing! We miss them all of the time. I took for granted that I had them so close for so long. Every min. I spend with them I cherish. I can't wait to see them soon.

Richfield Christmas party!

We always go to the Nielsen Richfield Christmas party after Christmas. This year we all got together at the tabernacle and had a huge photo taken of all 7 siblings, parents and my grandmother who is 98. I don't have that photo yet. With my camera we took these fun pictures at the tabernacle. We had a lot of fun!

I love my family. I can't wait to get the big family pic that was taken. Hartly had his year of being in charge and he did a great job of hosting a party at his home. We used to rent a place. It was so nice of them to open their homes to us. We look forward to any time we spend with our families. We are very blessed and very grateful!

I LOVED my trip with the girls and really had a great relaxing break. I enjoyed the company, stories, games, scrapbooking, food (because I did NOT eat eggplant) and even the nicknames PA! REALLY? Today you are You, that is truer than true. There is no one alive who is Youer than You.”Now is the time to say good bye to our teachers, friends, janitors, and principal. It`s time to leave our elementary school and move on to junior high. I don’t know about all of you, but I`m so excited for junior high! But 6^th grade was a great experience one that I will never forget. I remember the first time I walked into the class room. I went to another school last year and when I came back to Middle Canyon I didn`t really know anybody and the people I did know looked way different. But once I got to know everybody I made lots of good friends. Mrs. Anderson is so nice to everyone and I love how she lets us talk to her when we want and ask questions about her. I have learned a lot about her and feel like she is a teacher and a friend. We all need more teachers like her in our life. One thing I really enjoyed about 6^th grade was lions quest when officer Hansen came and taught us not to do drugs, drink, or smoke. I really liked lions quest because at the end we had to do a video about not abusing drugs and alcohol and it was a lot of fun. There are a few choices for 7^th grade some of us will go to Tooele Jr. High and others to Clarke Johnsen jr high. We will all be friends and have the memories of 6^th grade. One of my favorite memories at Middle canyon elementary was when Andrei Kirilenko came for the Jazz reading program. Another thing I like about Middle Canyon Elementary was that when you had a problem or needed someone Dr. Whiting was there to help. He would listen to your problems and concerns. Even if they were silly and not important. I really like Middle Canyon and I`m sad that I have to leave it. We will always remember the time we spent at Middle Canyon Elementary.

We went camping April 22nd and 23rd to 5 mile. We had so much fun! Brylee and I

Minaka- she is from Tokyo Japan. She is a foreign exchange student from Japan. Her host mom is a friend of mine and wanted Minaka to go to prom really bad. Dalynn knew her and was so excited to ask her out. All of you who know Dalynn know he will only ask a Japenese woman out. So this turned out to be the perfect proposition from the host family.
She was so beautiful she was so excited about going. This was her first date in America and she has been here since Aug. So she was really happy.

Dalynn took her for a day date into SLC and they went to the planetarium and went to a show. (she likes anything American and wanted to discover new things. ) They hung out at the mall and then went to Tympenyakis to eat. Dalynn got lost and was on a lost adventure for an hour and they laughed about it the whole time. Dalynn said I think I need to buy a GPS and then called Lynn. Lynn said put it on speaker phone. So he did then Minaka laughed and said now you have a GPS. She has a fun personality.

A big day at the Johnson house. Dalynn has not dated for a while. He really had a great night. I got a text from the host family saying :"She is so happy, she can't quit smiling."

My sister Sarah is having her 3rd girl in June. She is naming her baby Taylor. We are so excited for her to arrive. This pic. is of her mother in law Glenna and her daughter Jordyn.

Kaylee has became quite the reader this past year. She has discovered the Warriors series and loves them. She read all of Jan and Feb. reaching the top 3 readers at Middle Canyon elementary. She got the opportunity to read to the entire school with Andrei Kirilenko Jazz player. Here she is reading on the stage.
She was irritated I was taking her picture. Ha ha ha!
Andrei told the kids to keep reading. He told them he loves books and he is inspired by reading programs and loves seeing the youth grow through reading.

He seemed so friendly to everyone. Kaylee was excited! She knows Grandma Marcia is a huge Andrei and Jazz fan.
I am proud of Kaylee and she doesn't just read twilight books over and over anymore she has finally found new books to excite her. She is a great kid.

Sister weekend in Park city at the cabin!

This year we went to Park City and stayed in a cabin my sister Malia set up for us. (her friends let us rent it from them) It was amazing! like 4000 SQ ft big. (maybe bigger) Huge and fun! I want to go back in the summer. Everyone was able to make it this year. I love my sister/mom time. I want my daughters to love their sisters (or sister in laws) like I do.

Good times! We rocked at this. How many ping pong balls can you flip over the railing and to the bottom floor. So fun!!! We all mastered Forest Gump!. (we did lose the footage on the cam corder we so would have made world records with our ping pong games)

I gave Heidi the "Happiness" Willow tree angel for her birthday. It reminded me of her. Sing, laugh, dance and create.

I love these girls. Most of the girls I got to teach preschool too. They are all now in Kindergarten except Presley and Whitney who I teach still.

Each girl received an apron and a Fancy necklace. The girls were not picky about the aprons which made me so happy because Brylee picked each one for them.

The Nielsen Thanksgiving 2010- My mom had 40 people in her home this year. There is something special about being with family. I am so thankful for ours. I could not ask for better siblings. I love each of them so very much!

Dalynn is a Senior this year. A very emotional year for a mother. I am so very proud of him.

What a fabulous day with my sister Rachel and her boys. She was in SLC while her husband was training for his new job. It was so fun hanging out with her. Going to lunch and to Gardner Villiage. What a quant place. I loved the witches and cute shops. Brylee and Channer were so cute together. I sure wish my sister lived next door. I love her so very much. Towards the end it got chilly and rainy good thing we took fun pics. before the rain.

I decided to take the girls and a couple friends to the gristmill to take fun photos. I need to take them out again when we have a little more time so we can get really good shots.
